I have been fortunate enough to have worked with many people facing their own difficulties, whilst working and volunteering within different organisations. These include working with young people in secondary school, bereavement counsellor within a hospice and counselling service providers in Birmingham and Worcestershire.
Regularly inspired by the courage and strength I witness in people despite, the difficult and adverse experiences, that contribute to their life stories.
I approach people with genuine warmth and curiosity, I’m interested in what has happened to you in your life. We are all shaped by our own unique circumstances, relationships and experiences, the good the bad and the parts in between. Whatever your reason for considering counselling, I would like to help.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). Regular clinical supervision supports my practice. I’m a life long learner both personally and professionally and continue to expand my knowledge regularly.
