How it works

initial contact
A free 30 minute consultation in person, by telephone or via a secure online platform, will give you an idea of what to expect and also for you to see if you feel comfortable with me. You are under no obligation to commit to working together after this session.
2.
Your first 50 minute session
Should we agree to work together, we’ll schedule your first 50 minute counselling session. Part of our first session will involve you and I creating a working agreement, this will determine how we will work together, and you can consider what you would like to gain from the process and which areas you feel are important to discuss, we’ll revisit our agreement regularly.
3.
During our meetings you will decide what you would like to consider/talk about, and I aim to provide an environment where you feel safe enough to explore your feelings. There is no right or wrong way to be in therapy. There is no limit to sessions as long as they are helpful to you. Some people find shorter term working is enough while others may work more longer term. For some one session can be helpful enough.
